Between June the 15th and July the 4th 2023, the Ikonomov`s House, Dryanovo, will present an exhibition of Stefan Kotsev - awarded with the Prize of Dryanovo for Painting in 2022 during the National Plein Air - Dryanovo of Master Kolyu Ficheto - memory and present, organized by the Municipality and Historical Museum of Dryanovo, with the support of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. This is the fourth solo exhibition of the artist.
In the exhibition, named The Last ones, the artist will show bronze and plaster sculptures, as well as oil paintings - landscapes painted from life and exhibited for the first time. The artist remains faithful to his artistic pursuits from the last years. He deepens his plastic analyzes on the life and being of the last inhabitants of Bulgarian villages and their crumbling houses - a main motif in his work. The exhibition carries the expression and depth of statement typical for Stefan Kotsev.
